Sâu thẳm mình ư ? lại là ta đấy !

Ta gửi tro, mình nhen thành lửa cháy,

Gửi viên đá con, mình dựng lại nên thành.”

Message: love has a great power, once two people become stimulated, anything even is out of date, they can make the wonderful things by love.

Rhetorical divices:

Symbol: image of % (interest rate), money ( price, money value), a person( businesspeople)

Overstatement: the interest rate up to sky that means it is very high

Message: inflation causes high interest rate, money value goes down rapidly and the businesspeople have to try to keep their money

Item 3

“I never killed a deer before but I took a shot at it”

Rhetorical device:

Pun: “take a shot”: shooting or taking photo

Message:

There are two ways to understand. Firstly, the author takes a photo and doesn’t kill deer. Secondly, the author has to shoot by gun in order to kill the deer
